Purpose of Job
Crete Public Schools is seeking applications for CCLC Staff. This is a part-time position within the Cardinal Community Learning Centers ( CCLC ) after-school program. Training is provided. This position is considered open until filled. Hourly Pay is based on related job experience.
General Description and Duties
Essential Functions:
- Supervise groups of students attending the after-school program
- Develop and lead club activities (i.e., arts, science, technology, sports)
- Clean up at the end of the daily program
- Assist in serving snack and dinner
Other Responsibilities:
- Interest in building and engaging in positive relationships with students through a variety of activities
- Highly motivated to help students grow academically and personally
- A role model for kindness and a positive attitude
- Responsible and dependable
- A willingness to be flexible
- Organized
- As assigned by the supervisor
Special Skills or Knowledge Required
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check
- Experience supervising children is preferred
