Adjunct Faculty – College of Business
Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Nebraska, invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in the College of Business.
The newly-formed College of Business offers undergraduate programs in Accounting, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Economics, and Leadership. We offer minors in each of these areas, as well as Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, and Marketing. At the graduate level, we offer an MBA and a Master of Arts in Leadership.
The College of Business offers classes in Crete, Lincoln, and online. Our residential campus is located in Crete, with classes offered during the day in 16‑week semesters. Most students in Crete are recent high school graduates. The Lincoln campus is geared toward working adults, with classes offered one night a week in the evening during 8‑week terms. Most classes meet in person, but a few meet via distance learning.
We also offer asynchronous, online classes during the 8‑week terms.
- A master’s degree is required.
- Priority will be given to candidates with teaching experience and professional business experience.
- A terminal degree is preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in an active learning and teaching environment, value interdisciplinary studies, are committed to teaching to a diverse population of students, include students with different perspectives, and are responsive to student needs.
