CAD Technician
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a CAD Technician with our life sciences client in Creve Coeur, MO. This is a 12‑month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay$53.00 - $58.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA‑compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
DescriptionThe CAD Design Technician uses computer‑aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models for engineering and manufacturing projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of electrical design principles, and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- This individual works in conjunction with the Electrical Engineer and is responsible for detailed design and documentation of electrical power and control wiring, instrumentation loops, electrical schematics, cable tray layouts, instrumentation and electrical details, and cable schedules.
- 7+ years of CAD design/drafting experience, with a good background in power and control system design.
- Limited travel may be required with project teams.
- Estimated travel: 25%. AutoCAD experience required.
- Driving will only be required for sporadic field visits. Most of the work is local to Chesterfield. When travel is required for a field visit, we have a fleet of leased vehicles that can be checked out for the trip. Most of our sites are located in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa.
