As a Cardiac Sonographer at The Heart Institute, you'll play a critical role in helping diagnose and guide treatment for cardiovascular conditions through expert imaging. You will:

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and transesophageal echo (TEE) studies following established protocols.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists to capture accurate, clinically valuable images.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients about procedures and expectations.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Accurately document findings and maintain patient records in accordance with Mercy standards.
• Support the team in advancing best practices, quality initiatives, and imaging excellence.

• RDCS or RCS credential (or eligibility) required.
• Experience in echocardiography within a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles.
• Excellent patient interaction skills, with a calming, reassuring presence.
• Commitment to maintaining accuracy, quality, and compassionate care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative heart care team.
