Engagement Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Life Engagement Assistant to join our team in Creve Coeur, MO. The ideal candidate will support the well‑being and quality of life of our residents by facilitating meaningful activities, fostering social connections, and promoting an engaging community environment.

Location: Creve Coeur, MO 63141

• Plan, organize, and lead recreational and social activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
• Encourage resident participation and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
• Assist residents with mobility and participation in activities as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to identify resident needs and preferences.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
• Support special events and outings to enhance resident engagement.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote community involvement.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in recreation, social work, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in activity coordination, elder care, or related roles is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about enhancing residents’ quality of life.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed.
