Position Overview

The Release Health & Delivery Governance Manager is responsible for improving operational visibility, governance alignment, and release‑health reporting across enterprise delivery systems supporting the Payments Platform.

About the Role

The role sits within Delivery Optimization and intersects with Engineering, QA, Release Management, SRE/Incident Management, Platform Operations, Operational Support, and Executive Leadership. It focuses on operational telemetry synthesis, release‑health reporting, governance visibility, and continuous delivery optimization by aligning fragmented operational signals across release execution, escaped defects, incidents/MIMs, retrospectives, deployment telemetry, and operational support workflows.

What You'll Help Drive
  • Release Health Visibility & Governance
    • Facilitate and improve release readiness visibility and governance across enterprise release cycles.
    • Support standardized rollback governance visibility and escalation alignment.
    • Define and operationalize consistent release‑health standards and reporting practices.
    • Improve cross‑functional release execution alignment.
    • Support recurring release‑health operational reviews and follow‑up coordination.
  • Operational Delivery Intelligence
    • Synthesize release‑health telemetry across incidents/MIMs, Jira, deployment data, release retrospectives, operational support signals, environment readiness indicators, and operational trend analysis.
    • Improve release‑related incident attribution visibility.
    • Identify recurring operational delivery risks and bottlenecks.
    • Support operational telemetry alignment and signal classification practices.
  • Executive Reporting & Delivery Health Visibility
    • Operational release‑health summaries.
    • Delivery‑health dashboards and scorecards.
    • Trend analysis and release‑health reporting.
    • Leadership watch‑list reporting.
    • Operational risk visibility and escalation support.
  • Continuous Delivery Optimization
    • Identify recurring release friction and operational instability.
    • Track improvement across release cycles.
    • Delivery‑health trend analysis.
    • Operational maturity recommendations.
    • Shift‑left operational readiness improvements.
    • Support AI‑assisted telemetry and operational intelligence initiatives.

  • Partner with Delivery Optimization and AI initiatives to improve operational insight and reporting.
  • Support future‑state operational intelligence capabilities and telemetry maturity initiatives.
  • Help identify organizational bottlenecks and release friction points.
  • Improve visibility into dependency‑related release instability.
  • Improve cross‑team operational coordination during release execution.
  • Support flow optimization across delivery systems.
  • Partner across Engineering, QA, SRE, Release Management, Operational Support, Platform teams.
  • Facilitate operational reviews focused on systemic improvement rather than blame.
  • Balance delivery velocity with operational stability and client‑impact awareness.
  • Deliver concise operational summaries clearly communicating what happened, operational impact, contributing systemic factors, emerging trends, and areas requiring improvement.
