SDM Third Party Logistics (CORE)
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the end-to-end solution design and delivery of 3PL implementation within the CORE program, ensuring scalable and standardized integration between S/4

    HANA and external 3PL warehouse systems across more than 200 global warehouses. Leads cross-functional delivery teams consisting of external partners and Bayer experts, driving the implementation of robust and business-driven solutions aligned with the CORE Global Template.
  • Own the end-to-end solution design and delivery of 3PL integrations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and global standards;
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of consultants from multiple implementation partners and Bayer internal experts, ensuring aligned and efficient delivery;
  • Translate the CORE Global Template into practical, implementable solutions for 3PL warehouses across regions and divisions;
  • Steer design, build, testing, and rollout activities for 3PL-related scenarios (inbound, outbound, inventory, returns, exceptions);
  • Ensure consistent and integrated solutions across systems and value streams, especially with Warehousing, Transportation, Contract to Cash, and Material Flow Management. Act as a key interface between business stakeholders, Solution Design Leads, and implementation partners;
  • Support global rollout and localization across >200 warehouses with focus on scalability and reuse;
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and solutions, identifying optimization opportunities and increasing standardization;
  • Contribute to governance of change requests, ensuring adherence to global standards and avoiding unnecessary customization.
WHO YOU ARE

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams, including multi-vendor setups and internal stakeholders;
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end (E2E) supply chain processes, with a focus on customer value and value additions throughout the value chain;
  • Experience in translating business requirements into structured, implementable solutions (technical depth helpful but not mandatory);
  • Demonstrated solution-oriented mindset with a track record of improving processes and driving tangible outcomes;
  • Strong analytical, structured, and pragmatic working style;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment;
  • High level of ownership, resilience, and ability to drive topics independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Several years of experience in Supply Chain Execution or related areas, preferably with exposure to 3PL, logistics, or connected processes.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $122,160 to $183,240. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
