Director of Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Maintenance to lead and oversee all maintenance operations at our facility in Creve Coeur, MO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance staff, ensuring the reliability and safety of all equipment and facilities, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to maximize operational efficiency.

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and facilities.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and procurement of materials and services.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Oversee emergency repairs and respond promptly to equipment failures or facility issues.

• Facilities Management in a memory care community
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive maintenance management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
