Role Overview
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness.
Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns duties with organizational standards.
Qualifications & Skills- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license and compliance with state requirements
- Ability to push, pull, lift 50 pounds, and perform prolonged standing and walking
- Proficient in gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, or others as required by the unit
Provide direct patient care, evaluate care outcomes, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality service. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality while adhering to organizational standards.
Participate in ongoing certification and training as needed to meet unit-specific requirements.
