Role Summary

A C++ Software Engineer who designs, develops, and delivers high‑quality software solutions that meet business needs. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build reliable, scalable, and well‑tested applications, ensuring strong performance and stability. Your role requires solid C++ and object‑oriented programming expertise, a proactive problem‑solving mindset, and a commitment to code quality through testing, reviews, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Work with team members to identify the best solution for meeting business requirements.
  • Deliver high‑quality market logic normalization code and configuration.
  • Ensure bug‑free software through automated regression testing, unit tests, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with QA and Operations to ensure successful integration into test and production environments.
What You Will Bring
  • Full life‑cycle software development experience.
  • 2 years of experience with C++.
  • Strong understanding of object‑oriented development.
  • Superb interpersonal skills (written and oral).
  • Excellent analytical skills and a desire to tackle problems.
  • Ability to thoroughly test and debug code using test‑driven development.
  • Ability to suggest/research new technologies and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to work with Technical Architects and Product Owners to build to specification.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience developing on Linux.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Unix, or Power Shell).
  • Knowledge of other languages such as JavaScript or Node.js.
  • Experience with real‑time programming.
  • Experience debugging multi‑threaded applications.
  • Knowledge of design patterns.
  • A passion for continued learning and development.
  • Understanding of financial markets and market data.
  • Experience with low‑latency financial market data systems.
