Door Engineer

Do you have experience in the door industry and a passion for field service engineering? A leading provider of roller shutters, sectional doors, speed doors, and loading bays is offering a new Door Engineer position covering Crewe and surrounding areas.

A local company is offering full training and development, pairing you with an experienced engineer to learn their systems. The role includes a base salary of £39,000+ (£49K fully racked company van, PDA, mobile phone, and premium overtime rates.

You’ll be reporting to the Director and be expected to be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of roller shutters, sectional, speed, loading bays and fast action doors on various customer sites within a local postcode area. You will be expected to manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company’s fantastic reputation and future growth.

IPAF, PASMA, CSCS or NVQ

Previous practical experience working on shutters, sectionals, or loading bays

Excellent customer service skills

Electrical, welding or hydraulics experience

39,000 - £42,000 starting salary package OT circa £49k+ in your first year

Overtime rates paid at 1.5 minimum

Paid from when you leave home to when you return home
