Hvac Engineer

Overview

We re seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our client, supporting commercial and residential clients across Crewe and other locations. The ideal candidate will have strong fault-finding and breakdown experience, working across a range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable client base, with autonomy to manage your own workload and deliver high-quality service.

• Carry out fault-finding, diagnosis, and repair on HVAC systems including split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs.
• Conduct reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs in line with client SLAs.
• Undertake routine PPM (planned preventive maintenance) tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on system performance and energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

• Strong background in fault-finding and reactive repair.
• Relevant HVAC qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent).
• FGAS Category 1 certification (essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.

• £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).
