The Role £55,000 | Permanent | Crewe Join AO's New Solar Installation Team We're building something new. As AO expands into residential solar installations, we're looking for experienced Scaffolders to help us deliver safe access solutions for customers across the UK. This isn't large commercial projects or long-term site work. You'll be working on domestic properties, erecting and dismantling scaffolds that allow our Solar Installation Teams to safely install rooftop solar systems.

We're looking for scaffolders who take pride in their work, work safely, and understand the importance of representing a trusted brand in customers' homes. A Typical Day You'll start from your local depot, collect your materials and head out with your mate to residential customer properties. You'll install the required scaffold, liaise with the Solar Team, ensure everything is safe and compliant, and move on to the next job.

Once installation work is complete, you'll return to dismantle and clear the scaffold. No two days are the same, but every day you'll play a key part in helping customers switch to renewable energy. Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing Erecting, adapting and dismantling domestic scaffolding systems on residential properties. Installing temporary roof edge protection and safe access platforms.

Working closely with Solar Installation Teams to ensure scaffolds meet the requirements of each job. Loading and unloading scaffold equipment and ensuring vehicles are organised and stocked. Carrying out pre-work safety checks and identifying site hazards. Inspecting scaffold structures and ensuring compliance with current regulations and company standards. Always maintaining a clean and professional working environment. Providing excellent customer service whilst working at occupied residential homes.

Working efficiently to meet installation schedules without compromising safety. Supporting your mate and wider team to ensure jobs are completed right first time. A Few Things About You CISRS Scaffolder Blue Card. Proven scaffolding experience. Experience erecting and dismantling domestic scaffolds. Strong understanding of safe working practices and working l UK Driving Licence. Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
