VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Salary:
Up to £34,000 Basic Salary | OTE £41,200

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Completing repairs and maintenance operations accurately and efficiently
  • Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required
  • Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
  • Working closely with Service Advisors and other workshop colleagues
  • Maintaining high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction
ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
  • Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
  • MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
  • Own tools and toolbox
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
