About the Hotel

Crieff Hydro Hotel is located in the heart of Scotland, set in a 900 acre estate in Perthshire. With 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self‑catering lodges, 6 restaurants and over 60 on‑site activities – including a spa, leisure centre, horse‑riding centre and the exciting Action Glen.

About the Role

As Breakfast/Lunch Chef you will motivate the team to prepare excellent food and provide excellent service for up to 650 people on busy days. You will work closely with the management team to continuously improve our offering and coach the team to reach their career aspirations. You will play a key role in supporting the lunch team throughout lunch service to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Responsibilities
  • Motivate the kitchen team to deliver high‑quality meals.
  • Maintain freshness and quality of ingredients.
  • Coordinate with management on menu improvements.
  • Co‑train and coach team members for career development.
  • Support the lunch service team during busy periods.
Qualifications

Previous industry experience and a qualification in professional cookery would be great. Passionate about ensuring each plate is perfect; able to work with high volumes, stay calm under pressure and flexible with variable hours.
