Part-Time Dental Hygienist

We are a new Pediatric Dental office seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. If you love working with children, are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Assess patients' oral health by conducting visual examinations and reviewing medical history
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care
• Assist the dentist during procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental software (Open Dental)
• Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
• Collaborate with the dental team to create treatment plans for patients

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Proficient in medical terminology and dental procedures
• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
