Responsibilities

Lead a classroom that delivers a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
Create and implement dynamic, age‑appropriate lesson plans aligned with Celebree curriculum
Manage smooth and effective transitions and routines
Maintain classroom compliance with MSDE‑OCC regulations and brand standards
Build strong relationships with families through clear, positive communication
Support daily school operations and transitions, ensuring safety and supervision
Identify opportunities for improvement within your classroom and others you may coach
Assist leadership in maintaining compliance, safety, and consistency
Step in as a leader of the building when needed
Complete Celebree Careers Pathway Program

Qualifications

Preschool Lead: Minimum 90 clock hours in Child Development and Curriculum Planning plus 1 year of preschool classroom experience (or equivalent college hours). Required 9 clock hours of training in communication with staff, parents, and the public. Preferred: AA or BA in early childhood education or an unrelated field with the above requirements. MD State Credential Level 5.

Infant/Toddler Lead: 90 clock hours in Child Development and Curriculum plus 45 clock hours of Infant/Toddler Training OR 90 clock hours of Infant/Toddler Child Development. AA degree (or credit equivalent) in Early Childhood Education or higher preferred. Required 9 clock hours of communication training if no college coursework. MD State Credential Level 5.

School Age Lead: AA (or credit equivalent) degree in Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies, or a related discipline. Preferred 45 clock hours of Child Development (birth through school‑age), 45 clock hours of Curriculum for School Age Care, and 400 hours of experience with school children or 1 year of college. MD State Credential Level 5.
