Production Operator

The Production Operator supports the packaging and production of Chesapeake Coffee Roasters’ coffee and tea products. This role is based in our Crofton warehouse and focuses primarily on packaging operations, equipment use, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.

Compensation: Starting at $19/hour

• Fulfill, replenish, and stock all wholesale, retail, flavored, and contract-packaged products.
• Calculate, weigh, and retrieve the correct amount of coffee for packaging.
• Pack finished goods into appropriate packaging and boxes.
• Print and apply correct labels to all products.

• Maintain accurate daily production records.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized as directed by the Production Supervisor and Operations Manager.
• Distribution Support

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort operating equipment.
• Willingness to take direction and perform cleaning or remedial tasks as needed.
• Forklift/reach truck experience preferred; training available after probationary period.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, starting no later than 8:00 a.m.
• Willingness to work occasional early mornings, nights, or weekends.
