This position is full-time. Typical hours are Monday–Friday during daytime business hours. Overtime may be required during peak production periods.

Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Technician supports IR.Tools’ mission by assembling, inspecting, and preparing products that protect end users in real-world environments. This role operates production equipment, maintains material flow, and supports continuous improvement in a small, fast-moving manufacturing setting.

Qualifications- High School Diploma
- Related experience not required

- Verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment and work consistently in a quiet environment
- Willingness to prioritize team results

- Comfortable in small business environment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and concentrate on tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Interest in manufacturing as a long-term skill or career path
- Assembles and packs products according to customer requirements and internal specifications
- Operates multiple production machines such as laser cutting, printers, laminators, and sewing machines
- Conducts quality checks of parts and components
- Works independently after training while collaborating with the production team as needed
- Solves manufacturing problems
- Keeps equipment operating by completing basic routine preventative maintenance
- Provide support to the engineering department in the development of new products and processes
- Assists production team in achieving corporate goals
- Documents completion of assemblies
- Assists with maintaining accurate inventory
- Ships products
- Contributes ideas for process improvements
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support production and business needs.

- Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands, see, walk, lift, talk or hear. There are periods of prolonged sitting and standing. Capable of lifting 30 pounds unassisted.
