Roll-Off Truck Driver

Patuxent Roll-Off, LLC. is seeking highly motivated experienced Roll-Off Truck Drivers with CDL License. The Roll-Off Truck Driver’s duties include safely driving and operating the roll-off truck and all its components, managing the administration of receiving and fulfilling customer orders, and providing excellent customer service.

• Must have a valid CDL (A or
  
  B) driver’s license.
• One (1) year of experience driving a roll-off truck or similar vehicle.

• Deliver dumpsters to customers efficiently and safely.
• Inspect loads to ensure that the material is correct.
• Ensure that the dumpster is secure, and the tarp is in the correct position.
• Ensure the customer is satisfied with placement and service.
• Keep the truck clean from dirt and excess grease.
• Fuel vehicle at the end of your work shift.
• Report all breakdowns and equipment malfunctions immediately to your supervisor.
• Report all accidents to the supervisor promptly.
• Hauls safely to designated areas and maintains safe speed and observes all regulations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• Maintain truck logs.

• Ability to safely climb in and out of the vehicle.
• A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
• Capacity to provide and follow direction.
• Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
• Ability to work extended hours, as required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Obtain and keep current medical DOT certification card.
• Clean driving record.
