Our new venture aims to revolutionize patient experiences in dental offices throughout West Palm Beach, FL, by incorporating a blend of top-tier dental care and bespoke marketing strategies. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating cutting-edge dental services while ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays), obtaining patient's dental records, and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
  • Provide patients with postoperative instructions following dental procedures.
  • Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling).
  • Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth used by dentists to evaluate patient treatment needs).
  • Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.
  • Communicate with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing, and ordering supplies).
  • Help to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within tight time constraints.
  • Competency in handling patients with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficient in using computers and dental office software.
  • Understanding of dental records, sterilizing equipment, and hygiene standards.
