Early Childhood Educator / Developmental Therapist (DT)

Beacon Services of Connecticut provides early intervention specialty services to families and young children across Connecticut. Our regional teams of educators and clinicians work together to provide high quality supports based on best practices. Our Developmental Therapists provide in-home services for children between the ages of birth to three. At the outset, they assist in evaluating a child's skills across a variety of developmental domains and then use this information to develop and implement interventions. Developmental Therapists work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support families and children as they learn and grow.

• Full-time
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Current teaching certification (#112, #113, #065, #165, #265, #055, #059, #057) from the Connecticut State Department of Education
• Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with families
• Strong organizational skills
• A team work mindset to effectively collaborate with a team of peers
• The ability to work with families to set and achieve realistic goals

• Delivering in home supports within a designated region—some travel required
