Paraeducator - CHS

Cromwell Public Schools is looking for a Para educator for Cromwell High School. The para educator will work with a variety of students with disabilities. This involves supporting students in all aspects of their day and the ability to work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of the special/and or regular education teachers which may include therapy activities, toileting, lifting, field trips, life skill instruction, and all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal.

Associates degree, 60 college credits, or a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment. Experience working with children is preferred. Please see Para educator job description for a complete description of the duties of the position.

$23.37 per hour, 30 hours per week (6.5 hours per day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break, sick and personal time, health benefits, eligible for a pension (see contract for a complete list of benefits).
