Paraeducator ECS

Cromwell Public Schools is looking for Para educator for Edna

C. Stevens (PreK-2).
This is a 1 year position that ends at the end of the academic school year. The para educator will work with a variety of students with disabilities. This involves supporting students in all aspects of their day and the ability to work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of the special/and or regular education teachers which may include therapy activities, lifting, field trips, life skill instruction, and all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal.

Associates degree, 60 college credits, or a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment. Experience working with children is preferred. Please see link to Para educator job description for a complete description of the duties of the position.

$23.37 per hour; 30 hours per week: 6.5 hours per day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Sick and personal time, health benefits, eligible for a pension - see Para educator Contract for a complete list of benefits.
