Position Overview
This role supports our Cromwell, CT branch, serving customers throughout the greater Hartford area. The Project Manager coordinates and delivers multiple simultaneous fire and life safety projects in critical institutions such as hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities, ensuring client satisfaction, efficient resource allocation, and timely completion.
Responsibilities- Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to define project intentions and establish comprehensive schedules.
- Oversee procurement of supplies and materials, participating in cost reviews for financial efficiency.
- Assist in contracting subcontractors and coordinate their activities to align with project scope, schedules, and fiscal requirements while ensuring safety regulations.
- Conduct orientations for project technicians, providing necessary documentation, including scope of work, technical drawings, and application-engineered diagrams.
- Track project resources and progress, documenting schedule and scope events, and pursue opportunities for project‑specific change orders.
- Coordinate billing with accounting, schedule commissioning resources, expedite markup returns for as‑built development, and ensure timely project close‑out documentation.
- High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the commercial fire and life safety & security industry.
- Knowledge of local and national NFPA fire alarm codes, ability to read drawings and specifications, and electrical/network/control wiring diagrams.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Valid driver’s license (21+ years of age, limited violations) and eligibility for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial fire and life safety & security industry.

SalaryThe pay range for this position is $75,684 – $129,744 annually, with a target incentive of up to 10% of the base salary.
