This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Manager located in Cromwell, CT. We’re seeking an experienced and mission-driven Finance Manager to join our leadership team. This is more than just a numbers role — it’s a chance to use your financial expertise to directly support an agency making a difference every single day.

• Support the Vice President of Finance with day-to-day financial operations
• Oversee general ledger, account reconciliations, and monthly/annual reporting
• Ensure GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and audit readiness
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and fund accounting processes
• Lead annual audit preparation and collaborate with external auditors
• Partner with leadership on budgets, forecasts, and financial strategy
• Mentor and develop an accounting team while fostering transparency and accountability

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 7 years of accounting experience
  , with 3+ in a supervisory/management role
• Nonprofit accounting and fund management experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, Form 990, and nonprofit compliance
• Skilled communicator who can make financial concepts clear to all audiences
• A collaborative leader with integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence
