Manufacturing Engineer – Transducer

Do you enjoy developing innovative manufacturing solutions while supporting the design, testing, and production of advanced transducer technologies?

The Manufacturing Engineer – Transducer role will assist with all aspects of transducer production and development projects, providing engineering and technical support to achieve volume, cost, and quality standards; conducting research, development, and documentation to continuously improve product lines.

Responsibilities
  • Initial design support, assembly, and testing of prototype transducers for custom inspection tools, then transition to production.
  • Develop new and improved production procedures, practices, and documentation.
  • Maintain safety as a top priority.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Proven knowledge of engineering science and technology applied to the design and production of NDT/UT transducers.
  • Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles used in the production of precision technical plans, schematics, drawings, and models.
  • Hands‑on initiative and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Capability to train and audit the work of others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Office products.
  • CAD experience such as AutoCAD or Solid Works is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co‑workers, management, and customers.
  • Willingness to perform a variety of tasks under strict deadlines.
  • Commitment to Baker Hughes Guiding Principles.
Working Conditions
  • Typical production environment.
  • May involve lifting material or products up to 30 lbs.
  • Requires use of safety equipment such as eye safety glasses and hearing protection.
  • May require occasional travel.

Salary

Annual pay: $83,630 – $155,350.
