CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Run the Milling, Turning, or Mill Turn machines to produce quality Ripley Tool products. A day in the life includes working on Milling, Turning or Mill Turn machines as needed. Inspect own work using various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparator. Maintain quality and production standards. Perform secondary operations as required. Read and interpret blueprints. Participate on continuous improvement teams and incorporate lean practices into daily activities.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Willing to work overtime. Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year experience required with CNC machines.
- Ability to read and write English and do basic math.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis.
