Position: Equipment Operator I (Full-Time) (Seasonal)

* The Equipment Operator I supports daily golf course maintenance by performing hands-on groundskeeping and operating basic equipment. This entry-level role focuses on learning safety standards, equipment procedures, and core course care practices while contributing to a clean, well-maintained playing environment.
** QUALIFICATIONS
* ** High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to follow instructions and safely operate basic golf course equipment
** RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
*** Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance facility and work areas
* Clean and inspect equipment after each use; report mechanical or safety concerns to the Equipment Manager
* Perform routine golf course maintenance under the direction of the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations and/or Assistant Superintendents
* Complete required training before independently performing assigned tasks
* Operate basic equipment and perform groundskeeping tasks, including:  + Line trimming trees, shrubs, and course features  + Edging cart paths, sprinkler heads, and bunkers  + Ball mark repair and divot filling  + Sod installation and turf repair  + Utility vehicle operation  + Walk-behind mower operation on greens, tees, and approaches  + Blower operation  + Hand raking bunkers and general hand tool use
* Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety standards
* Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned
** Pay Starting at $16.94/hr

** PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a variety of outdoor weather conditions. Position is very active and requires lifting, pulling or pushing up to or over 50 pounds, moving and/or lift items with awkward weights. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
