Ädelbrook's Continuous Residential Supports (CRS) and Community Living Arrangements (CLA) provide community-based homes across Connecticut for adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our residences foster independence, personal growth, and community inclusion while remaining close to families, day programs, schools, and other community resources.
As a Residential Support Counselor, you'll:
- Build meaningful relationships while providing compassionate, person-centered support
- Teach daily living skills such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
- Transport individuals to appointments, community activities, and recreational outings
- Document progress and collaborate with clinical teams to support individual goals
- Respond to challenging situations using trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques
