Early Childhood Family Education Teacher
Crookston Public Schools is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and collaborative Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Teacher to join our early learning team. The ECFE Teacher will provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children and their families while supporting parents and caregivers in their important role as their child's first and most influential teacher. This is a part-time position averaging 5 hours per week, beginning September 14, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and provide engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children and their families.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for children, parents, and caregivers.
- Support parents and caregivers with information and strategies related to child development, early learning, and positive parenting.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Collaborate with other early childhood staff to support the needs of children and families.
- Observe and respond appropriately to children's individual developmental needs.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and respectful learning environment.
- Participate in program planning, communication, and other responsibilities related to ECFE programming.
Qualifications:
- Required:
Current Minnesota teaching license in the area of Birth to Grade
3. Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and community partners. Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all children and families. - Preferred:
Experience working with young children and their families. Experience in an Early Childhood Family Education or similar early learning program. Knowledge of family engagement and parent education practices.
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time: 5 hours per week

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Crookston Education Association Master Agreement Additional details regarding the schedule and work location will be provided during the interview process.
