Every great casting starts with a great core—and that's where you come in! As a Coremaker/Assembler, you'll play a key role in creating the components that help produce precision aluminum castings used across a variety of industries.

What You'll Be Doing Assemble sand cores according to specifications and work instructions

Inspect cores to ensure quality standards are met Prepare and stage materials for production

Work closely with teammates to keep production moving efficiently

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Take pride in creating products that make a difference

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time. The employee’s role also involves working in a high temperature environment, including exposure to resin coated sand.

Regularly required to talk and hear.

Frequently required to stand; bend; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Required to lift 25 lb parts from floor to overhead.

Required to lift 25 lb parts in/out of machines.

Required to push 75# force on rack or carts with product.

Occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The employee must infrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
