We are partnering with a leading global manufacturer in the transportation and mobility industry to find a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Crookston, MN. What You'll Do- Provide manufacturing engineering support within assigned production cells
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality goals
- Lead and support lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, value stream mapping, setup reduction)
- Implement Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and initiate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
- Design or specify tooling, equipment, and racking solutions
- Create and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and train team members
- Maintain and update plant layouts, inventory maps, and safety plans
- Support capital equipment upgrades and facility improvements
- Participate in daily production meetings and plant performance reviews
- Conduct process observations to validate time standards and improve efficiency
- Assist with audits, non-conforming material reviews, and supplier approvals
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related experience in manufacturing
- Lean certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software (e.g., Uni Graphics)
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and on a team
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
