We are partnering with a leading global manufacturer in the transportation and mobility industry to find a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Crookston, MN. What You'll Do
  • Provide manufacturing engineering support within assigned production cells
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality goals
  • Lead and support lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, value stream mapping, setup reduction)
  • Implement Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and initiate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
  • Design or specify tooling, equipment, and racking solutions
  • Create and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and train team members
  • Maintain and update plant layouts, inventory maps, and safety plans
  • Support capital equipment upgrades and facility improvements
  • Participate in daily production meetings and plant performance reviews
  • Conduct process observations to validate time standards and improve efficiency
  • Assist with audits, non-conforming material reviews, and supplier approvals
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related experience in manufacturing
  • Lean certification or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software (e.g., Uni Graphics)
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and on a team
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
