• Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients in Labor and Delivery, with Med‑Surg float coverage as needed.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, manage pain relief, and respond to obstetric emergencies per protocol.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, document outcomes, and maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, nurses, and support staff to coordinate care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal units.
• Float to Med‑Surg units when assigned, delivering skilled care to medical‑surgical patients as required.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and postpartum/self‑care considerations.

• Active RN license (state‑appropriate)
• Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Preferred experience in a Critical Access Facility
• Must be able to float to Med‑Surg units as needed
