Essential Job Functions

Merchandiser

• Greet customers on the sales floor and direct them to product or parts specialists.
• Check out customers and deter shoplifters.
• Keep the front area stocked and fronted, following planograms and displays.
• Prepare sales displays and maintain daily organization and cleanliness.
• Adjust displays according to company guidelines and planograms.
• Make all front‑price changes and ensure sale signage is accurate.
• Remove sale material when a sale ends and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Collaborate with the manager to complete the store To‑Do List and weekly team tasks.
• Act as the primary shop‑lifting deterrent / front‑floor security.
• Support O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.

Cashier

• Check out customers purchasing front‑floor merchandise quickly and friendly.
• Handle merchandise returns efficiently.
• Assist customers by finishing tickets, accepting money, checks, and credit cards when the express lane is not in use and the counter is busy.

Required:

• Aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Desired:

• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual‑transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
