POSITION DETAILSThe Pool Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and monitoring of pool heating systems and water quality. This role ensures that all pool equipment functions efficiently and that water conditions meet health and safety standards.

- Operate and monitor pool boiler and heating systems
- Monitor pressure gauges, meters, and safety controls
- Keep accurate logs of maintenance, chemical usage, and system performance
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations
- Respond to equipment malfunctions and emergencies promptly
- Ability to work independently
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Required Skills, Experience, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in boiler operation
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to read gauges, meters, and technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Boiler Operator License
- Flexible
This job typically requires: standing, walking, stooping, handling, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination. This position is generally light to moderate duty. Work is within the City building. Limited lifting of 50 pounds or less is required.
