** What's a typical day as Fork Lift Operator? You'll be:*
* + Operating forklifts to load and unload raw materials and finished goods in accordance with customer and chemical specifications

+ Working safely in a team and individual setting, adhering to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines and procedures

+ Wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, safety glasses, face shields, chemical suits, respirators, ear plugs, and steel-toe boots

+ Performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to 12 hours a day

+ Working in both outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments, including at heights and in confined spaces

+ Progressing in training and skill development to advance in production, including learning to operate and monitor chemical reaction processes

+ Monitoring equipment and performing minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production

+ Entering work orders and process improvement suggestions into computer-based systems and participating in improvement initiatives

+ Utilizing computers for data entry, shipping and receiving documentation, and daily communications via email and Microsoft Office

+ Reading and comprehending instructions, process manuals, and procedures

+ Accurately documenting process information and sketching basic schematic diagrams as needed

** This job might be an outstanding fit if you:*
* + Have experience operating forklifts in an industrial or manufacturing setting (required)

+ Are comfortable wearing all required PPE and working in physically demanding environments

+ Can perform tasks involving lifting, standing, and physical activity for extended periods

+ Are available to work on a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

+ Possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and email

+ Have strong reading, writing, and math skills needed for process documentation and communication

+ Are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment
