Temporary Accounting Associate
Local Opportunity | Express Employment Professionals. Temporary Assignment: 3-6 Month Project. Pay Rate: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience).
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a detail-oriented Accounting Associate for a temporary assignment with a well-established insurance services organization. This role is ideal for someone with accounting experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Record and process financial transactions, including journal entries.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform account and bank reconciliations.
- Support month-end close activities.
- Prepare and review basic financial reports.
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
