Tri Green Equipment is seeking a Parts Manager to join our team at our Crossville, TN
dealership. In this role, you will lead the parts department to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient inventory control, and profitable parts sales.

Job Purpose:

The Parts Manager is responsible for managing daily parts operations to maximize return on investment by:

  • Growing profitable parts sales
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Streamlining parts department processes
  • Exercising cost control and inventory management
  • Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Supporting the company’s mission and core values

This position requires a motivated, sales-oriented individual with a creative and strategic mindset for merchandising and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote Tri Green Equipment in a professional and honest manner at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain respectful, positive interactions with customers and team members.
  • Sell parts, accessories, and services to meet customer needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring adherence to department processes and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Manage and achieve budgeted sales and profit goals for the parts department.
  • Monitor and execute monthly marketing strategies to boost parts sales.
  • Maintain effective parts merchandising displays to attract walk-in and repeat business.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure high fill rates, optimal turnover, and minimal shrinkage.
  • Conduct physical and perpetual inventory counts; report shortages and overages.
  • Ensure timely submission of warranty claims and parts returns.
  • Maximize parts order discounts to benefit customers and internal departments.
  • Resolve customer issues with a focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and processing of parts sales and transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts department, showroom, and storage areas.
  • Support accounts receivable efforts by helping collect past-due parts invoices.
  • Lead and engage team members through regular meetings and development plans.
  • Assist with parts counter sales and daily customer interactions.
  • Participate in on- and off-site promotional events and trade shows.
  • Support service technicians by providing necessary parts and support.
  • Maintain accurate and attractive retail sales floor and merchandise displays.
  • Adhere to dealership procedures for cash handling, warranties, returns, and core charges.
  • Ensure compliance with company data and inventory policies.
  • Manage parts shipments, receipts, inventory transfers, and surplus returns.
  • Operate dealership equipment safely (forklifts, testing tools, etc.).
  • Follow all safety regulations
    , dealership policies, and company guidelines.
  • Attend job-related training and maintain required certifications.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Parts Department operations preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, inventory systems, and basic internet applications.
  • Strong knowledge of parts and agricultural or outdoor power equipment.
  • Excellent customer service
    , communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze machine diagrams to determine necessary parts.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
    .
  • Ability to operate a forklift and safely lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required.
