Express Employment is hiring an experienced Automotive/Diesel Technician for a busy shop. We’re looking for someone with strong hands‑on experience who can work independently without constant supervision. This role focuses on gasoline and light‑to‑medium‑duty diesel pickup trucks (Dodge, Chevrolet, GMC, Ford). No semi‑truck work.
Pay: $15–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Engine diagnostics, fuel systems, and electrical troubleshooting
- Injector replacement, oil changes, transmission flushes, valve cover gaskets, high‑pressure oil pumps
- Brake and suspension work including control arms, tie rods, wheel bearings, ball joints, and driveshafts
- Transmission and engine removal and installation
- Mounting and balancing tires
- Operating vehicle lifts and shop equipment
- General mechanical repairs on gasoline and diesel engines
Requirements:
- Extensive hands‑on experience with gasoline and diesel motors
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Welding experience is a plus, not required
- Must have basic hand and power tools
