The Bin Operator works in the Rough Rice Department and operates machinery to properly sort rice into individual storage bins according to type, variety, and grade. This position works 5-6 days per week and 8-12 hours per day.
Requirements
- Dependable vehicle and valid driver’s license to travel between mill storage locations. Gas mileage will be paid.
- Physical abilities such as climbing, lifting heavy weights, and entering confined spaces.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to sort rice into storage bins according to type, variety, and grade.
- Operate conveyors, elevators, and bin gates.
- Perform minor repairs on conveyors and elevators as needed.
- Keep area clean.
