We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and experienced Forklift Operator to join our Lafayette warehouse team. The primary responsibility of this position is to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to receive, move, stage, store, and load materials and finished products.

The ideal candidate will have previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment, be safety-focused, and be comfortable handling heavy materials in a fast-paced setting. • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling and placement of products.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and products.
• Pick, stage, and prepare products for outgoing shipments.
• Safely move and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through manual logs or warehouse management systems.
• Perform routine forklift and equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Work closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to meet shipping and production deadlines.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.

• Previous forklift operating experience is required.
• Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
• Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in confined and industrial spaces.
• Ability to safely handle and move heavy materials.
• Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Ability to work around machinery noise, dust, fluctuating temperatures, and moving equipment.
