Primary
Purpose:
Teacher will utilize Montessori instructional technique and curriculum to enable students to develop competencies and skills which will ensure student success in the assigned subject area and in society.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
* Qualified applicants will hold the appropriate valid teacher certification and endorsements for the subject and grade level to be taught.
* ESL supplement required
* Montessori certification preferred (AMS or AMI credentialed Early Childhood, 3-6 year of age level and/or Lower Elementary 6-9 age level)
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
* Knowledge of Montessori instructional techniques and curriculum
* General knowledge of Montessori philosophy and classroom structures
* Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Minimum Teacher Salary
$63,810 Compensation Plan)
* Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
* Salary will be adjusted to the start date.
