What we’re looking for:
- Prior experience working as a physical therapist in school settings
- Current and active Texas PT license
- Comfort serving students with a broad range of disabilities (K-12)
- Ability to work in an itinerant capacity, primarily covering the southern portion of the district
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility as caseloads and needs shift across the calendar year
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school staff
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering direct PT services to K-12 students per IEPs and educational plans
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized goals, and documenting progress
- Traveling between school sites as needed to serve students in different campus environments
- Actively participating in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Adjusting and prioritizing your schedule during the transition from part-time summer services (July‑early August) to full‑time responsibilities during the school year
