Instructional Aide II SPED - SEAS

This position will be working with students who may have moderate to severe delays. Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a special education setting. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of the principal and immediate direction of a certified teacher.
Qualification:Education/Certification
- Associate's degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed (an unofficial college transcript will be required prior to hiring)
- Ability to work with children with disabilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of general office equipment
- Some experience working with children
Minimum salary $23,188/187 days. Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
