Position Overview
IHA seeks a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to create a positive, active learning environment while delivering high-quality instruction in physical education.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Utilize formative & summative assessments to track student progress
Differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
Communicate regularly with parents & colleagues
Support students academically & socially through individualized instruction
Participate in professional development & school events
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field (or equivalent teaching experience)
Certification:
Valid state teaching license preferred
Experience:
1-3 years of teaching experience preferred
Skills:
Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction
