Qualifications:
1.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent;
Associates Degree or 60 credit hours of college preferred

Experience:
Successful experience in a para type
3.
Skills:
Communications, classroom management; knowledge and implementation of student educational plans; records management, ability to follow directions
4. Special Requirements:
Be able to communicate well and to work successfully with students, staff, teachers, and principal.
Primary Function:
To promote, maintain, and provide direct lines of communications between the home and the school personnel with regard to the social, interpersonal, safety and general well-being of the elementary students at the assigned building.
Responsibilities:
Follow therapy plans under the direction of the therapists and teacher
Adapt to changing needs of students
Maintain confidentiality of ALL student information
Works with all students assigned
Other duties assigned by the supervisor
