** Job Summary
** Assigns and delegates projects and responsibilities to engineering staff
** Required Qualifications for the Position
** 7+ years of demonstrated knowledge and experience with electrical system design, system operations, construction activities, and emergency response7+ years of previous experience in Engineering or Operations departments3+ years of previous work experience working at or for an electric utility

Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles, system design, budget management, work management, and project management Strong knowledge of Company policies and procedures related to engineering and operations Strong knowledge of applicable codes and compliance requirements Familiarity with engineering design computer applications Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with Company budgeting processes and systems Ability and willingness to respond to off-hour emergency outages and storm restoration efforts
** Preferred Additional Qualifications
** Demonstrated knowledge of NIPSCO New Business policy, electric rates, and tariffs Previous leadership experience over engineering teams
