Job Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and proposal development for medium and high‑voltage power delivery projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization projects, working closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure competitive and technically sound bids.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of estimating or project experience within power delivery, utilities, or heavy electrical construction
- Experience estimating substation projects
- Strong understanding of substation components such as transformers, breakers, bus systems, protection & control, grounding, and structural systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, one‑lines, and construction specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
