Assisting Hands Home Care – Merrillville is now hiring Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Aides (PCA), Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality, non-medical, in-home care to seniors and adults in Merrillville, IN and nearby communities. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing)
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and emotional support
• Transportation and errands (if applicable)
• Support clients with mobility and transfers

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, DSP, or similar role preferred
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient
• Ability to pass National background check
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Details:

• Position Type: PRN, Part-time
• Schedule: Flexible; all shifts available dependent on assignment (days, evenings, overnights, weekends)
• FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
• Location: Merrillville, IN and surrounding areas
• Reports To: Staffing Coordinator
